Sherwood Forest Faire will strive to contract for the finest Food Vendors in the Shire to serve to its patrons. We desire the menus to be “period” appropriate—thus, snow cones, popsicles and the like would be inappropriate.

Sherwood Forest Faire will be international, in its appeal…Marco Polo having already set out for the Far East and contacts with the Holy Lands via the Crusades well integrated into the palate of the nobility of Merry Olde England.

Some among the kingdom have heeded a higher calling to vegan or vegetarian diets.

The Faire hopes to appeal to all tastes, as best we can, and maintain the highest quality of food available at the most reasonable prices. Should you be interested in becoming a food vendor at Sherwood Forest Faire, please download the application below, complete the application and submit it for approval. It will be expected that you would invest in the Faire by constructing your own permanent structures. As The Faire understands this is a financial burden the first year, the % of gross sales expected as fees for participating in the Faire will be reduced significantly the first year a booth is constructed. Food Vendors will be required to submit copies of Liability Insurance and Bastrop County Food Certification

Finally, should you be selected as a Food Vendor, it is required you and your personnel would dress in period garb, as well as speak the King’s English when waiting on the patrons. You will be expected to be part of the illusion and fun.
